Beeswax

Love the lagoon, protect the bees.

Every ring in my collection is crafted using the artisanal, organic Mitsuro Hikime technique. For each piece, I work with wax provided by Apicultura Restante, whose hives are located in the tidal marsh of Venice, called “barene” by the locals. These bees are vital to this fragile habitat, and the wax they produce carries a direct connection to this unique landscape. While the final ring no longer contains the wax itself, it preserves a symbolic link to the barena, allowing the wearer to carry a piece of this place with them.

No two rings are exactly alike. The subtle variations in shape, texture, and flow make each piece a one-of-a-kind work of art, full of character and individuality.

To help you explore my designs, I’ve organized the rings into distinct families, each reflecting the way the metal moves, twists, or textures across the surface.

Bring a piece of the Barena with you ,a unique connection to Venice, crafted with care for this delicate habitat.
